Use the source link beside a record or annual table to check the publisher’s original data.
An error in an official record
Contact the publishing agency through its records process. This site cannot alter a police record. Keep the source URL, public record number, and date; do not share private personal details.
Different counts or dates
First compare the source, covered dates, active filters, and counting unit. An offense count can differ from a case count. A source’s latest report date can differ from its latest occurrence date. Annual statistics do not use the same window as recent records.
